microphone imageCipher Arts was responsible for the planning, research, writing, designing and building of Pharos, an interactive website for the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, which features over 350 items from its extensive collections. Click here to view the Pharos website.

As a subsection of Pharos, and in close consultation with the Fitzwilliam’s curators and conservators, we produced Making Art, an innovative interactive feature which shows how different types of art objects were made and Conserving Art which shows how they are restored. This includes an interactive showing the rebinding of the famous Macclesfield Psalter, one of Britain‘s oldest and most valuable illustrated manuscripts.
